The company REISSWOLF likvidace dokumentů a dat, s.r.o. (document and data disposal) started its operation in the Czech Republic in 1996, and it has provided quality services to its customers since then.

High safety standards are the basis of our operation. Significant milestones in the life of our company then certainly include development of a new plant in Kralupy nad Vltavou. This plant belongs today among the most sophisticated plants in Europe. All company’s activities are performed with a gentle approach to the environment, in particular with an option to secondary raw material use. The quality of the services provided is also indicated by certificates obtained from the National Security Office, and also the certificate ISO 9001 granted to the company in August 2005.
In 1985, a businessman – Mr. Henning decided to break up his firm and give birth to a new company that would specialise in external disposal of classified archives. Therefore he set up a company called REISSWOLF, which was the title of a local satirical radio program. He appointed Jan Möller a General Manager. Möller’s main effort was to develop security standards, which it would be possible to work with, and win customers for this service. In a short time, REISSWOLF took charge of external disposal of data media and documents of several banks and insurance companies in Hamburg. Business partners were very satisfied with this closed and safe REISSWOLF system and thus the company name was progressively getting famous in the whole Germany. |
| Customers of REISSWOLF company started demanding these services in the course of time also at all other branches in the whole Germany. Based on this, a network of REISSWOLF branches had to be initiated necessarily. So as not to spend enormous means for the development of own network and thus increase the cost of data media disposal, Mr. Möller hit upon an idea to create a network of franchise companies. Eight German paper converters formed the REISSWOLF network beside their own activities in 1989 already. After the Berlin wall fall, four other companies were founded in the eastern region. REISSWOLF Deutschland was founded in the same year as a communication centre for all franchise partners in Germany. Now, 17 REISSWOLF branches cover the entire German territory making the REISSWOLF company a leader on the market. In 1989, the network of REISSWOLF branches had disposed ca 55 thousands of tons of data, which was about 40 mil. of German Marks. The company however did not stop its development and REISSWOLF opened its first foreign branch in Luxembourg in 1993. Since then, the company REISSWOLF has expanded also to France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and the Czech Republic. For such complex coordination, REISSWOLF International was founded in 1996. Since then, the network of branches has expanded to Great Britain, Norway and Finland. Last but not least, expansion to the USA and China has been under consideration. One of the main objectives of REISSWOLF company is to offer safe disposal of all types of data media and worldwide operation to its customers. |
